HFPA REVISES TIMETABLE FOR
62nd ANNUAL GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS
HOLLYWOOD, CA, November 9, 2004 – Lorenzo Soria, President of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, announced a revised timetable for the 62nd Annual Golden Globe Awards to be telecast Sunday, January 16, 2005 from 8-11 PM (EST) live on NBC.
Key dates are as follows:
October 21, 2004 - Final screening date for Television entries
October 22, 2004 - Final date for press conferences for Television entries
November 5, 2004 - Deadline for submission of Golden Globe entry forms
*November 18, 2004 - 9 a.m. Cecil B. DeMille/Miss Golden Globe
December 3, 2004 - Deadline for nomination ballots to be mailed by Ernst & Young to all HFPA members
December 6, 2004 - Final screening date for Motion Pictures
December 7, 2004 - Final date for Motion Picture press conferences
December 10, 2004 - Deadline for receipt by Ernst & Young of nomination ballots
December 13, 2004 - 5:30 a.m. Nomination announcement of the 62nd Annual Golden Globe Awards
December 15, 2004 - Deadline for receipt of media credential applications
December 28, 2004 - Final ballots mailed by Ernst & Young to all HFPA members
January 4, 2005 - Deadline for receipt of publicist credential applications
January 12, 2005 - Deadline for receipt by Ernst & Young of final ballots
January 16, 2005 - Presentation of the 62nd Annual Golden Globe Awards. Live telecast on NBC Television at 8 p.m. EST

The 62nd Annual Golden Globe Awards will take place Sunday, January 16, 2005 with a live telecast airing on NBC at 8 pm (EST) and produced by dick clark productions in association with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
